Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of LitterWish. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

What LitterWish is

LitterWish is software that helps breeders take applications, manage a waitlist, and collect deposits through their own connected Stripe account. LitterWish is a tool provided to the breeder; it is not a party to the sale of any animal and does not broker, guarantee, or take part in the transaction between a breeder and a buyer.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account, for the accuracy of what you publish on your application page, and for complying with the laws and animal-welfare regulations that apply to your breeding activity.

Payments

Deposits are processed by Stripe and settle directly to the breeder's own connected Stripe account. The breeder is the merchant of record and is responsible for Stripe's fees, for honoring their own published deposit terms and refund policy, and for handling chargebacks and disputes. LitterWish does not hold breeder or buyer funds. Use of Stripe is also subject to the Stripe Services Agreement, which each connected account accepts during onboarding.

LitterWish charges breeders a subscription fee for paid plans as described on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime from the billing page and keep access through the paid period.

Buyer deposits & refunds

The terms of any deposit — including whether and when it is refundable — are set by the breeder and shown to the buyer before payment. Refund decisions are the breeder's. LitterWish provides the tools to record the accepted terms and to issue refunds through Stripe, but is not responsible for a breeder's refund decisions.

Acceptable use

Do not use LitterWish for unlawful purposes, to spam, to misrepresent your program, or to collect payment for animals you cannot or do not intend to provide. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, LitterWish is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not responsible for disputes between breeders and buyers.

Changes & termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified. You may stop using the service at any time; you can export your data first from your dashboard. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms.
